The Magnificent Cistercian Abbey is a very particular and unique site where you will have the opportunity to celebrate a marriage like no other. The walls of the enclosure make it possible to receive even a very large number of guests. Come and discover the Cathedral of the Vines and its 83m long and 24.5m high as well as the cloister and its gardens with Florentine charm. Admire the chapter house with its basket-handle vault, as well as the fountain, one of the few preserved in a Cistercian abbey. You can also walk in the gardens and visit the grape variety conservatory.
Founded in 1138, The Cistercian Abbey became over the centuries one of the most prosperous abbeys in southern France. However, following many wars, decadence settled there in the 18th century. In 1789 it was sacked. Some 40 years later it was bought and subsequently restored which is still maintained by the same family today.

The Cour d'Honneur: This beautiful courtyard can receive guests for the welcome cocktail or aperitif by the large pool and in the shade of the 150-year-old plane trees. Maximum capacity: 500 people standing, 350 people seated (Surface: 500m2).

The Cloister: It can accommodate dinner guests where tables will be set either in front of the Fountain or in front of the Chapter Room, or in two of the galleries, depending on your choice and the number of your guests. Maximum capacity: 500 people standing, 350 people seated.

The Monks' Refectory: This room can also be used for a seminar or dinner, or can act as a dance floor. Maximum capacity: 130 people standing, 80 people seated (Surface: 120m2.)

The Old Church: This abbey church transformed into a cellar after the Revolution and the departure of the monks can accommodate up to 950 people seated. Under the beautiful 13th century vaults of this church, your guests will be surprised by so much beauty and originality. It is 83 meters long and 24.5 meters high. Maximum capacity: 950 people seated, 1500 people standing (Surface: 83 meters long, 24.5 meters high).
The abbey also has an old monks' kitchen where you can set up your caterer of choice. Site owners can also recommend caterers who already know the localities.
The four imposing galleries of the cloister surround a magnificent garden which presents a great diversity of flowers as well as bamboo beds which create beautiful settings for photography on your big day.
The abbey and the tasting cellar will be open from 10 am to 6 pm which you and your guests can book and take advantage of during the days surrounding the wedding and there is also The restaurant “Ferme Auberge” will be open every lunchtime.
The old abbey is located in a beautiful village between Montpellier and Béziers. It is located in an impressive and exceptional natural environment including vineyards, just so idyllic. The Abbey has always produced wine. The monks already produced it and the vineyard now includes more than 30 hectares of organic vines. Our wines are at your disposal for your receptions.The abbey will be reserved for you from 6 p.m. to 5 a.m. so you can party your hearts out!
