With its origins dating back to the 13th century, this Château offers a fascinating dive into the past, with its stone walls telling tales of nobility, intrigue and architectural evolution. Whether you are a history buff, a culture enthusiast or simply looking for a spectacular location in the heart of breathtaking nature, this venue promises an unforgettable experience steeped in medieval charm and enchanting landscapes.
Over 1,000 years ago this building began as a simple watchtower, which was enlarged into a small fort, and then into a real fortress at the dawn of the Renaissance. At the beginning of the 18th century, it became a private residence. Today it is open to the public with Bed & Breakfast style guestrooms, guided tours, concerts, cooking classes and dinner events, conferences, weddings... and more!
Within the Château estate, a sumptuous French-style garden was carefully restored at the end of the 20th century. This harmonious garden is distinguished by carefully selected vegetation to adapt to the local climate; from hot and arid summers to cold winters.
A precious witness to the historical and architectural heritage of the Hautes-Alpes, the castle and its gardens offer an experience that combines history, nature and timeless beauty.
