The Château comprises of two main wings, a dovecote and medieval towers built in the 13th and 14th centuries. The château boasts 70 rooms including 18 suites. Each suite is unique and named after an ancestor or close family member. They all have been fully decorated and refurbished, most in the luminous, elegant style of the 18th century, with period beds and luxurious marble bathrooms, some with copper bathtubs. Silks,
linens and wallpapers based on 18th-century designs have been carefully chosen to respect the authentic, historic character of the premises.
There are also several drawing rooms, a music room, two dining rooms, a theatre, a bar, cellars, and attics. A monumental granite staircase was designed by architect François Gabriel (the ancestor of Ange-Jacques Gabriel, one of the architects of the Château de Versailles and the Petit Trianon).
