The chateau was built in the 16th century & the noble family who resided here, hosted King François 1st who visited to hunt on the estate. The house was with in the same family for over a hundred years until 2020 when the present Anglo-French owners took residence. The house is being brought back to life and boats a stunning location for a wedding celebration.
The owners hosted their own wedding here, under a marquee in the beautiful park, with tree-lined arrival for bride & groom. The old carriage store is now the Chateau bar, which is fully-stocked for guests and the chateau can host up to 80 guests. There is currently on-site accommodation for bride & groom, in the Library Suite with additional accommodation in the courtyard gîte, for up to 6 family members in total. The Tower Suite & other accommodation will be added in 2024. The local town is 10 minutes away by car, with ample hotel accommodation, bars, restaurants & shops, all in the shadow of the 11th century Chateau, just a beautiful place to explore whilst in the area.
The owners can supply an all-inclusive package and are happy to source any other elements for your special day or discuss extending the celebrations i.e. a hog roast (or Wild Boar), the evening before the nuptials or for the next day brunch!
