A little bit about us, my name is Brenda, and I discovered our Chateau 35 years ago and fell in love with the idyllic serenity the area has to offer. We have been carefully renovating, redesigning, and styling each room with antiques and beautiful settings; we have now renovated the large two outbuildings, which are now perfect wedding and events spaces. A recent staff member has also joined the team, and with a background in boutique events, fine dining, and retreats, we are here to sign, seal, and deliver what you are looking for.
Imagine living the dream and waking up in the embrace of the most romantic candlelit cream and gold mirrored salon with dripping gilded candelabra, columns, cherubs and chaise longues. The intimate dining room and reception hall awaits your exclusive French country wedding party. The house, grounds and newly restored original stone outbuildings offer the perfect backdrop for your wedding photographs and portraits.
This Historical Country House has a 75m2 orangery with magnificent origional features which can seat 75 guests. The Orangerie offers the perfect buffet, reception and dance spaces with its columns and large illuminated terraces on two sides. During the daytime natural light floods through floor to ceiling arched glazed windows and doors, whilst at night its mystical, subtle lighting is created by chandeliers and dimmable wall lighting.
Adjacent to the outdoors, you will find a spacious area for a meal that can accommodate up to 300 guests. The incredible atmosphere in these surroundings will undoubtedly provide you with a memorable wedding experience. The sparkling lights, combined with the elegance of the decor, create a warm and romantic ambiance, perfect for celebrating your love. The Orangery is the dream location to make your wedding an nforgettable
and magical event.
What a feast... The magnificent Baronial Banqueting Hall features soaring ceiling, chandeliers and its original monumental stone chimneypiece with two working bread ovens and a minstrels gallery for your musicians to play madrigals and melodies. You will also have access to a space of 60m2 for your cocktail reception and dance floor. For more capacity at this venue you will be required to hire a marquee but then you would be able to have up to 300 guests at the venue.
Set within its enclosed six hectares of lawns, pasture and illuminated woodland you will find fields with pathways to wander through with Wildflowers, ruined 11 and 13th century chapel and ancient walled vegetable garden.
We have a list of wedding suppliers that we have previously worked with and can highly recommend and are happy to help arrange a brunch the following day for your guests.
It has five principal double bedrooms, each with its own name and character plus en suite roll top bathroom. The three charming family and friends double rooms and one twin room offers child bed option. All the bedrooms have equally beautiful decoration, antiques and lighting and have a shared bathroom. For the remainder of your guests there are local plenty of other options with hotels and gites very close by.
Rental price for 1-3 days: starting from 5000 euros.
