The epitome of French rustic chic, this unique and intimate wedding venue is hidden away in the beautiful countryside with views of the gardens, pool and rolling hills beyond.

With its gorgeous courtyard and beautifully finished and grand barn, the venue aspires to be a blank canvas to allow you to create an event as individual as you are, while ensuring that all facilities and decor are finished to a high standard to create a dreamy aesthetic.

The venue strives to create a unique, chilled and friendly atmosphere for all your guests, allowing you to bring your wedding dreams to life.

Unlike many venues, included in the price is a team of coordinators, planners and thinkers, all available before, during and after your big day, meaning you can enjoy a stress-free wedding planning experience with the support of our excellent team.

The venue can cater for up to 60 of your nearest and dearest on the big day, with room for 12 guests on site in spacious and luxurious bedrooms which have all been individually decorated.

For your remaining guests, there are plenty of other accommodation options within walking distance.

Enjoy a cocktail around your own private pool, surrounded by incredible yet tranquil views of the French countryside, or why not have a poolside brunch the day after the wedding to continue the festivities?

Inside, the fantastic French barn, decorated in a rustic, elegant style, is the ideal location for your wedding breakfast or for dancing late into the evening - the choice is yours! Or, dine in the courtyard under a blanket of twinkling lights.

Wedding stay starts from 7,700 euros and include:

  • Exclusive use of the Manor House, pool and grounds, sleeping up to 12 guests
  • Welcome dinner for you and your guests staying in the house (you can invite more to join at an additional cost)
  • Breakfast on the wedding morning for you and your guests staying in the house
  • Banqueting tables and chairs, along with all your ceremony seating. All your serving bars
  • Twinkly event lighting around the courtyard, grounds and within the barn (excluding any specific disco/band lighting)
  • No corkage
  • Crockery, cutlery, glassware and all your waiting staff for for the whole day (should you choose our catering)
  • A personalised list of amazing and trusted suppliers
  • Your own dedicated team of planners and wedding support, before and on the wedding day itself

Ah, Nouvelle-Aquitaine! Home to Aquitaine, Limousin and Poitou-Charentes. This is quite possibly the ideal wedding destination for any happy couple.

Aquitaine is home to Bordeaux and it is more than possible for you to get married near to the breath-taking Dordogne, or even near the Basque Villages. This is along the Spanish border and there is so much for you to see and do. The hot springs that are in Nouvelle-Aquitaine are not to be missed and this is great if you want to pamper yourself after the big day. Poitou-Charentes is on the Atlantic Coast and the sandy white beaches are culturally stimulating ad the most beautiful location to get married in France. Famous for its beautiful architecture as well as its incredible food and wine, This region has it all. Castles from yesteryear adorn every hilltop and the region is a must for anyone who enjoys their food. Local specilaities include truffles, foie gras, prunes and of course wine, so every wedding will be full of amazing cuisine and your guests will not be disappointed. If it is the classic French chateau that you are after for your wedding in France then you have to conside Nouvelle Aquitaine and the surrounding areas!

Of course, you also have the Marias Poitevan wetlands, and this is not to be missed either. You can get to this area via train and flights also run to this area as well. This is easily one of the most beautiful areas for wedding venues in the whole of France and the activities there include horse riding, wine-tasting and relaxing on some of the sandy shores. The region features many destinations with cultural and touristic significance locations like the Citadel of Blaye, Saint-Emilion, La Rochelle, Aquarium, Arcachon and the Dune du Pilat. All of these areas have a rich historical background that could be considered when choosing wedding venues in the region. Nothing can quite compare to the experience you will get when you visit this location, and it is one of the best places for you to say those special words, “I Do!”.

  • From the moment we contacted the Intimate and Unique French Manoir about having our wedding to the moment we checked out post wedding, they were the most incredible people and came to deal with. Words will never do them enough justice for how fantastic they are! They brought our dream marriage to life as if it was the easiest thing in the world.

    The venue is even more beautiful than in the photos, it's stunning, comfortable, spacious and so special, the entire team who spoiled us and looked after us for the weekend were so warm, attentive and accommodating and let's not get started on the food. I think we devoured every morsel that was put in front of us and every single one of our guests commented on how incredible it was… even those with specific dietary requirements were looked after like VIPs. The whole team knew them by name and made sure they were looked after! There was so much effort and care put into making our weekend special we will never be able to thank them enough! The owners even realized we were going through the wine more quickly than expected (lol) and flagged it on time so that we could get more delivered on time for the wedding day!
    If I was getting married another 10 times, I'd come back to this venue every single time!!!

  • To all of the team at the Intimate and Unique French Manoir - wow wow wow! What a wedding week we had! There is a reason these guys have a 5 star rating. We were lucky enough to have our wedding here in August 2024, and the whole team were devoted to bringing our vision to life and making our day perfect. We have made so many memories to last a lifetime.

    On deciding on our wedding venue, we wanted somewhere relaxed abroad where we could spend a week in the summer sun with our closest family and friends eating and drinking locally sourced foods and wine. On discovering this venue, a beautifully restored gîte & barn, nestled in the beautiful French countryside (think sunflower fields), we knew instantly it was the one!

    The food- where to even start! From the wood fired pizza served on our pre-wedding night dinner, to the food on the wedding day (we had the locally cured meat sharer starter, wood fired chicken followed by fruit tarts at our 'tart table'), absolutely everything was served of the highest quality and stunningly tasty! We had a canele tower (the best caneles we have ever tasted!) and a mille-feuille for our BBQ day 2 - not only were these visual masterpieces but they tasted OH SO GOOD! We have had so many comments from guests about how delicious all the food was!

    George kept all guests watered throughout the wedding day / Day 2 & kept the Spritz bar and the stub hub/beer bath in free flow- for that he was many a guests' favourite person!!

    Booking this venue was the best decision we made in celebrating our marriage and we have no hesitation in recommending them as a wedding venue and/or group holiday destination for an event or just some quiet bliss. Actually, it's a must do!
