A Medieval castle which has recently been brought back to life, its secrets have long been hidden, making it an unusual and authentic place. This living castle is particular and charming because it is a true haven of peace, and a place of healing.
Enjoy a gorgeous setting for your wedding in the Glass Palace at the Château. Nestled in its green setting in the middle of an 8 hectare park, the area is totally privatized for your event. You can choose to have a cocktail reception in the inner courtyard or in the park, dinner in the Glass Palace, and stay in the suite or at the Reserve. You will be welcomed, advised and accompanied throughout your reception by the owners, so that this day unfolds without a hitch and remains engraved in your memory.
The Glass Palace can host your wedding, for a cocktail, lunch or dinner, in small groups or as a larger reception, since it can be arranged in many ways.
When the medieval meets the contemporary: come and admire the Glass Palace immersed in nature. Installed in the heart of the castle park, this high-end and extremely elegant glass and steel construction charms with its spacious volume, transparency and contemporary appearance. It offers a real contrast of time since it is located in front of the medieval keep of the castle.
A 250 m2 terrace and a huge lawn connects the Glass Palace to the facade of the castle.
This new 350 m² reception area surrounded by nature, with a view of the castle, becomes an ice palace at nightfall. The lights of the illuminated castle and the candles on the tables are reflected on the windows and begin a show of mirrors, unreal and magnificent.
The Parc, classified for its rare species , charms all visitors who walk there. Accessible by an old drawbridge crossing the moat, outside the courtyard, it extends over 8 hectares allowing visitors to isolate themselves, breathe out, recharge their batteries and relax.
We can also arrange a cocktail in the vast prairie located in before the facade of the castle.
L'Orangerie:
The Orangery offers another space for celebrations and is located in the inner courtyard adjoining the castle, it allows you to receive up to 20 people in a very intimate and totally private setting.
For many years, the Orangery was used to store plants to shelter them from the cold and frost during winter. This has been completely renovated and transformed into a warm and intimate reception room, bathed in sunlight.
It adjoins an authentic kitchen decorated with old materials, bricks and flint. Equipped with modern equipment, it can be used by caterers or for personal use.
The Chateau can accommodate 15 people for weddings and receptions that take place on the estate.
La Réserve has been fitted out in one of the outbuildings in the inner courtyard, an old restored cart, with a magnificent view of the castle and the park. Leaning against the surrounding wall, it is decorated with splendid old materials, and has great modern comfort.
In the castle keep, a luxury suite can accommodate up to 4 people offering a more intimate stay ideal for families:
- A double bedroom with a king size four-poster bed overlooking the park,
- Two single rooms overlooking the interior courtyard
- A bathroom with WC, fully equipped and renovated.
A list of recommended but not obligatory providers is available (caterer, florist, DJ, photographer ...) In addition, with twenty years of cultural and medieval activities, the Blanc Buisson can offer you various activities between 2 festivals: shooting archery, introduction to falconry, theatrical medieval visit ... A potted history
The Château, built in 1290 under the reign of Philippe le Bel, is undoubtedly one of the last vestiges of this post-Middle Ages civil and military architecture in the Pays d'Ouche ( south of the Risle-Charentonne region). Nestled in its green setting, surrounded by its moats, defended by guard turrets, drawbridges and watch towers, this heritage steeped in history soothes all visitors who walk there.
The price below includes the exclusive hire of the venue for a two night/two day event at the Chateau, with accommodation for 15 guests.
