Set in the foothills of the Pyrenees, this ancient abbey which was converted to a château in the 18th century and dominates the small village in the Ariège. Surrounded by nature, you feel as though you have been taken back in time sitting on the terrace with a glass of crémant de Limoux. The rooms overlook the terraced garden which boasts one of the biggest Magnolia Grandiflora in Europe. All the bedrooms are en-suite and each one is differently decorated. Egyptian percale linen, fluffy white towels and feather bedding all make for a good's night sleep.
The château is available for exclusive use throughout the year, including the winter months. In the summer we can cater for up to 80 people outside in the cloisters. In the colder months we can cater for up to 50. Whatever the season, Tom Sleigh, our chef, cooks great food using superb local and seasonal ingredients.
Breakfast on the terrace, drinks in the garden and dinner in the cloisters are all part of the experience. Facilities include swimming pool, parking in the grounds, library with wi-fi, mature, terraced gardens and table tennis room.
