Charming 17th Century Country Estate

This chateau is a charming 17th-century country estate in Southwest France. Its meticulously maintained residence and park are the essence of stillness and seclusion, ideal for an intimate wedding. It is a warm, inviting family home ready to welcome you and your guests to create the perfect wedding day for you to make your own. The charming chateau’s decor combines an exquisite collection of antiques with original modern artwork. The grounds include a heated swimming pool, hard-surface tennis court and 100 acres of protected woodlands with stunning scenary for photographs. Castles, medieval villages and historical sites dot the surrounding countryside. The region also offers many outdoor activities, world-famous vineyards, restaurants and music for you and your guests to enjoy throughout your stay.

The chateau can host 16 guests in 9 bedrooms for the duration of your stay. In 2015 we built a professionally-designed indoor studio which could be used for a reception area or there is plenty of outside space to enjoy. Our professionally-trained local chef lives on a biodynamic farm. The food REALLY IS farm-to-table so it’s fresh, seasonal and delicious. Come and savor the chef’s heavenly creations with wines from the region’s oldest and finest wineries, you and your guests will not be disappointed.

Relax in our glorious living spaces! The Grand Salon includes two formal connected drawing rooms, comfy sofas and chairs, two working fireplaces, a music system and a grand piano. Floor-to-ceiling doors open onto a grassy terrace with beautiful views of the property. There are also two spacious living rooms with original tile floors, comfy sofas and chairs and satellite TV. A separate family room includes satellite TV, a music system, DVDs, books, board games, PlayStation and children’s toys. The games room has table tennis and foosball which are ideal for children to be entertained throughout the wedding. There is also boules, cycling, badminton, climbing frame, trampoline, cricket and croquet available for you and your guests entertainment.

There are lots of dining areas to create a special experience for your whole stay. Enjoy breakfast at the handcrafted cherrywood table in our inviting kitchen with a glass of bubbly on the morning of your wedding. Channel your inner Sun King while eating dinner in the formal dining room the night before. The room’s panels were designed by the same artisans who worked on Versailles! Take in the splendid views while eating at one of several outdoor spaces. A family-style table at the front of the house looks out on the expansive park and cedar grove, or dine on comfy sofas on the East-facing terrace. The covered patio adjacent to the pool is great for canapes and drinks while watching the sunset, the options are endless.
