Bespoke weddings, tailored to your vision.

This Manor house of the Loire is one of the most romantic places in France to be married, and the bliss is you can have it exclusively to yourself. This exquisite rose and lavender covered Manor is a photographer’s dream, where every aspect is a delight, providing you with the perfect backdrop for your wedding and creating memories for a lifetime. With indoor and outdoor ceremony options available...

Description

This Manor house of the Loire, set within 25acres of gardens and woodland, dates back to the 13th Century. Once you arrive through the gates and into the courtyard, it feels like a little world away from it all. The gardens are full of roses and lavender, which make it a very romantic setting for a wedding. The house is very tastefully decorated with French and English antiques, beautiful beds and chandeliers. It has a very friendly and personal atmosphere.

There are a number of ways to celebrate your marriage at this stunning Manoir, whether it be an intimate ceremony in the exquisite 13th Century Chapel, followed by a dinner in the ‘Salle de Reception’, or a pretty flower filled garden ceremony followed by champagne on the lawn and later some live music for you to dance the night away under the stars on our outdoor dance floor, or an open air ceremony in the rural setting overlooking the lake.. it is our aim to create your perfect day whatever your preference may be.

We have a beautiful barn where the evening dinner can take place, which is furnished with gorgeous antique chairs. We create flower arrangements on each table and around the room, again to your preferred colours and style.

Evenings in the garden are a lot of fun. The dance floor sits in the courtyard under twinkly lights. Bands or a DJ are welcome and we have some recommendations.

The day after the wedding, the gardens are a lovely place to relax, usually with a BBQ in the sunshine. The pool, surrounded by fields, is also yours for the weekend.

The main house has four spacious en-suite bedrooms. We then have the ‘Gite’, which has a further three double en-suite bedrooms, a kitchen, sitting room and conservatory, which is a lovely place to have breakfast. The ‘Pigeonierre’ is a self contained building, full of charming character. It has a double bedroom with en-suite and a kitchenette downstairs. Finally we have the ‘Suite’, which has step free access, one double bedroom, a bathroom and kitchenette/living area.

Parking is available on site.

  • We have just spent the last week at the Manoir, celebrating our daughters wedding which we held by the lake. We could not have wished for a better venue , made extra special by the family who own it. Rosemary, Richard and their son Ben went out of their way to make this occasion extra special.(Rosemary decorated every corner she could find with the most spectacular flower arrangements , just amazing). Ben was awesome, any problems we came up against, he sorted out straight away. We were told to make our selves at home and treat the Manoir as own own. We partied from Friday evening till late on Sunday . Spent the wedding evening dancing under the stars( and hundreds of fairy lights) to a fantastic band on a specially made dance floor. The Sunday was spent by the swimming pool and playing lots of games whilst eating from the BBQ. What a weekend. It really was the best weekend ever. Exceeded all our expectations . Thankyou so much to everyone xxx
