HISTORY
Situated in the lush and stunning Perigord Vert, land of truffles and foie gras in South West France the Chateau was originally the home of barons (with our own coat of arms) the castle was built on an ancient base from the 1400s. The estate was then transformed by a quirky 1800s French Artisan, renown for his religious art (he has streets named after him for it) and penchant for all things English. He and his eclectic heirs, such as his ghostly white daughter Blanche, left their workshop, two chapels, and an indelible footprint on the property - transforming it from a hunting lodge to a towering gothic tribute that stands in superb condition to this day. The chateau was more recently a summer resort for French Ministers' families before being sold as a 13-hectare private estate.
After three years of renovations we believe that the Chateau and Estate could be the ideal venue for your very special event - We pride ourselves on being a little different and love to share our home for such special occasions.
OFFERING
The Chateau provides exclusive wedding rentals and includes a selection of unique spaces ideal for your ceremony, wedding breakfast and cocktail receptions including our very own Chapels. Whether indoor, taking advantage of the grand features and character of the Chateau or outdoors in the tranquil parkland the choice is yours - the Chateau is flexible and we are too.
With a total of 19 bedrooms over three floors including Two Courtyard Suites with independent access ( ideal as Honeymoon Suites ) we can provide accommodation for up to 44 people at maximum occupancy which means the Chateau is perfect for a group stay to accompany the Wedding.

PRICING
With an all year round starting price of 10,900€ We offer great value for money and we aim to make life a little bit simpler, providing many of the items required for your special day within the price to reduce your additional charges. The starting price includes the following -
-Three nights accommodation ( 26 people in 12 bedrooms )
-Access on the wedding day for those guests not staying on site
-Access to the two indoor event spaces and parkland chapel
-Rental of chairs, tables, table cloths, cutlery, table chargers
-Rental of 3 Marquees ( installation cost applies )
-Tourist Taxes
-Payment Charges
PLANNING AND ORGANISATION
We require that all wedding bookings are co-ordinated by a Wedding Planner or Co-ordinator who also consider events where non staying guests or suppliers are present the days prior to and after the wedding. We can provide contacts for those who have worked at the venue and who know it well, but you are welcome to use your own if you prefer.
We also have a number of contacts we can put you in touch with to get your planning off to a great start to include caterers, drink suppliers, florists, celebrants, photographers, local accommodation, transport and more... Please just let us know how we can help.
