The Chateau is set in the breathtaking French countryside and is on the Dordogne/Charente border in a region that is recognised as being one of the most beautiful areas in France. The region is magnificent. The Château is a square bourgeois house set on a pretty garden on a human scale. Its interior is in the early 19th century style, the date of its construction, checkered floors, adjoining rooms, welcoming spaces.
The Chateau has 7 beautiful bedrooms and an additional 5 in The Gatehouse, sleeping up to 27 guests. Both have recently been sympathetically restored, retaining most of the original features and together they provide an elegant but homely ambience. An additional property is available to rent within the grounds during July and August, a 4-bedroom house sleeping 8 guests. Along with this property comes a beautiful large partially covered courtyard that would make the perfect space for dinner and drinks the night before the wedding.
